Everything you want to know about Dog Breeds and Dog Gifts!
So, Why a site about Dog Breeds and Dog Gifts, not just dogs? Well, I don't know if you agree, but I don't think dog breeds are just dogs. They are, well.. dog breeds! They are different.... Try telling me that your Chihuahua is like my neighbours Bull Terrier and you know what, it just ain't true. Each breed is a different type altogether, it has a different character, different strengths and weaknesses, very definitely different looks. Many breeds are prone to having specific health problems which with knowledge and care can be avoided or spotted and treated immediately. Different dog types have different play needs and many have specific training needs. Our passion for dogs and working with dogs for years running kennels was the inspiration for this site. Often we discovered that not only was it the dog breeds that had special requirements but in fact the owners!
We have been constantly astonished by the likenesses we always discover between the animals and their owners, we'll be telling you about some of these throughout the site, and if you have any stories to tell, or photos to show, please do write in to us. The reason we decided to include information on dog gifts within the site is two fold. We have personally discovered how hard it is to find specific presents for specific breeds, and had to do a LOT of researching to find presents for our kennel customers. And secondly, we recognise the difficulty of finding original and interesting dog gifts for particular dog breeds. Our research is ongoing and as we discover new and interesting gifts we will be letting you know, so please do sign up for our update newsletter. This site will always be a work in progress, in that it was born from passion and will continue to be so. New breeds will continually be added, information updated when relevant, news will be ongoing and many of your photos and stories included. We hope one day to cover every living dog breed. If yours isn't yet included, do write in and let us know all about your dog breed, and if you include a photo we will try and list your breed as soon as possible, (Please note that your writing must be original and not copied from any other source or we will be breaking copyright laws and will no longer be allowed to operate). Besides, we want to hear what your dog is REALLY like,not what the books say he / she is like. Isn't that the sort of information you would rather hear??? If so this is definitely the site for you.
